Whoops!

Well, it looks like I forgot about you! Well, I didn't I just never seemed to write. Then I decided to add a great new background to the Blog ... had a ton of problems (including the double entries that you may have noticed) and just ... well, got a bit frustrated!

BUT! So much has happened since I last talked to you ... both good and bad. I promise, I'll come back very soon and update you all!

It just dried so fast between coats! Here's the floorcloth...I like it!





Thoughts? I have made several floorcloths before but never "collaged".

Idea board

Last night I got my idea board finished and hung up on that big blank door! I had some extra fabric so I covered a small bulletin board too. Take a peek!







Now I just need to fill them up!

Off to put another coat of Polyurethane on my floorcloth...I will have it in the studio tomorrow morning and will show you then. I really like how it is turning out ;-)

From time to time I'll update you with changes...unless you're sick of my room already! ;-) I have ordered a bottom up/top down shade for the window that should be here in about a week. Once I get that up I think I'll be hanging some of my Moroccan type lanterns from the ceiling. I also have a big metal star lantern that I want to hang somewhere.

For all you safety experts out there please be aware that I am working on a ventilation system that will be installed ASAP and I will be piping the propane through the wall. Don't worry!! I want to be working with glass and books for a very long time! :-)

Any thoughts? Do you see anything that you would change or add/subtract? I would love your opinions! Also, don't forget...send me a link to your studio! Please!!
